Production Supervisor - scheduling and staffing (Charleston, SC)

Lumen Bright Press prints books, catalogues and packaging from its Charleston plant, and we need a Production Supervisor to lead our scheduling and staffing. Many of us have been here for ten years or more. What you will do • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Report daily on output, downtime and press runs. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. What we are looking for • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. • Firm, fair and calm. • Comfort with production metrics. Nice to have • Experience with press runs. • Lean or Six Sigma training. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Charleston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
