Production Supervisor - scheduling and staffing (Buffalo, NY)

We are growing our team at Summit Junction Press and adding a Production Supervisor whose main responsibility will be scheduling and staffing. You would join a small organisation of about 124 people based in Buffalo. What you will do • Report daily on output, downtime and print quotes. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. What we are looking for • Comfort with production metrics. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. • Firm, fair and calm. Nice to have • Lean or Six Sigma training. • Experience with print quotes. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Buffalo. • We reply to every applicant.
