Production Supervisor - scheduling and staffing (Boston, MA)

Summit Cobalt Auto Group is looking for a Production Supervisor. The job centres on scheduling and staffing for vehicle inspections, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Customers come back because we explain what they need and what they do not. What you will do • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Report daily on output, downtime and vehicle inspections. What we are looking for • Comfort with production metrics. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. • Firm, fair and calm. Nice to have • Lean or Six Sigma training. • Experience with vehicle inspections. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Boston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
