Production Supervisor - scheduling and staffing (Boston, MA)

Rivermark Field Press is looking for a Production Supervisor. The job centres on scheduling and staffing for print quotes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Report daily on output, downtime and print quotes. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. What we are looking for • Firm, fair and calm. • Comfort with production metrics. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. Nice to have • Lean or Six Sigma training. • Experience with print quotes. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Boston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
