Production Supervisor - scheduling and staffing (Birmingham, AL)

Amberfield Hollow Farms supplies farm and food customers across the Birmingham region. We are hiring a Production Supervisor to take on scheduling and staffing. Seasons are busy and the rest of the year is for planning. What you will do • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Report daily on output, downtime and cold storage. What we are looking for • Comfort with production metrics. • Firm, fair and calm. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. Nice to have • Lean or Six Sigma training. • Experience with cold storage. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Birmingham. • We reply to every applicant.
