Production Supervisor - scheduling and staffing (Austin, TX)

We are growing our team at Summit Vista Auto Group and adding a Production Supervisor whose main responsibility will be scheduling and staffing. Technicians are respected and trained. What you will do • Report daily on output, downtime and supplier deliveries. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. What we are looking for • Comfort with production metrics. • Firm, fair and calm. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. Nice to have • Lean or Six Sigma training. • Experience with supplier deliveries. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Austin, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
