Production Supervisor - safety and training (San Jose, CA)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Ashton Foods and adding a Production Supervisor whose main responsibility will be safety and training. You would join a small organisation of about 112 people based in San Jose. What you will do • Report daily on output, downtime and sanitation schedules. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. What we are looking for • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. • Comfort with production metrics. • Firm, fair and calm. Nice to have • Experience with sanitation schedules. • Lean or Six Sigma training. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in San Jose. • We reply to every applicant.
