Production Supervisor - safety and training (San Diego, CA)

Summit Ivory Foods produces packaged foods at its San Diego plant. We are hiring a Production Supervisor to take on safety and training. You would join a small organisation of about 88 people based in San Diego. What you will do • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Report daily on output, downtime and customer specifications. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. What we are looking for • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. • Comfort with production metrics. • Firm, fair and calm. Nice to have • Lean or Six Sigma training. • Experience with customer specifications. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in San Diego. • We reply to every applicant.
