Production Supervisor - safety and training (San Diego, CA)

Northwind Beacon Medical is a San Diego company producing monitoring and surgical equipment. We are hiring a Production Supervisor to take on safety and training. Patient safety shapes every decision. What you will do • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Report daily on output, downtime and complaint handling. What we are looking for • Comfort with production metrics. • Firm, fair and calm. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. Nice to have • Lean or Six Sigma training. • Experience with complaint handling. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in San Diego, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
