Production Supervisor - safety and training (Sacramento, CA)

We are growing our team at Greenridge North Press and adding a Production Supervisor whose main responsibility will be safety and training. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Report daily on output, downtime and paper stock. What we are looking for • Firm, fair and calm. • Comfort with production metrics. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. Nice to have • Lean or Six Sigma training. • Experience with paper stock. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Sacramento, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
