Production Supervisor - safety and training (Richmond, VA)

Foxglove Basin Foods Group is a Richmond food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers. We are hiring a Production Supervisor to take on safety and training. We like people who take pride in what they make. What you will do • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Report daily on output, downtime and sanitation schedules. What we are looking for • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. • Comfort with production metrics. • Firm, fair and calm. Nice to have • Lean or Six Sigma training. • Experience with sanitation schedules. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Richmond. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
