Production Supervisor - safety and training (Reno, NV)

We are growing our team at Greenridge North Press and adding a Production Supervisor whose main responsibility will be safety and training. You would join a small organisation of about 96 people based in Reno. What you will do • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Report daily on output, downtime and proofing. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. What we are looking for • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. • Firm, fair and calm. • Comfort with production metrics. Nice to have • Experience with proofing. • Lean or Six Sigma training. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Reno, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
