Production Supervisor - safety and training (Reno, NV)

Northwind Sable Manufacturing Partners is a Reno manufacturer supplying regional industrial customers. We are hiring a Production Supervisor to take on safety and training. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Reno. What you will do • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Report daily on output, downtime and tooling. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. What we are looking for • Comfort with production metrics. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. • Firm, fair and calm. Nice to have • Experience with tooling. • Lean or Six Sigma training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Reno, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
