Production Supervisor - safety and training (Reno, NV)

We are growing our team at Cedar Cobalt Manufacturing and adding a Production Supervisor whose main responsibility will be safety and training. Many of our supervisors started on the floor. What you will do • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Report daily on output, downtime and machine downtime. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. What we are looking for • Firm, fair and calm. • Comfort with production metrics. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. Nice to have • Lean or Six Sigma training. • Experience with machine downtime. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Reno. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
