Production Supervisor - safety and training (remote)

Westbrook Pine Manufacturing makes precision components in Detroit, and we need a Production Supervisor to lead our safety and training. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Report daily on output, downtime and tooling. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. What we are looking for • Comfort with production metrics. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. • Firm, fair and calm. Nice to have • Experience with tooling. • Lean or Six Sigma training. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Detroit. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
