Production Supervisor - safety and training (remote)

Nova Maple Press prints books, catalogues and packaging from its Anchorage plant. We are hiring a Production Supervisor to take on safety and training. Deadlines are tight and craftsmanship matters. What you will do • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Report daily on output, downtime and bindery work. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. What we are looking for • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. • Comfort with production metrics. • Firm, fair and calm. Nice to have • Experience with bindery work. • Lean or Six Sigma training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Anchorage. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
