Production Supervisor - safety and training (remote)

Cedar Ember Press produces print and digital publications in Houston, and we need a Production Supervisor to lead our safety and training. We like people who notice details. What you will do • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Report daily on output, downtime and bindery work. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. What we are looking for • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. • Firm, fair and calm. • Comfort with production metrics. Nice to have • Lean or Six Sigma training. • Experience with bindery work. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Houston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
