Production Supervisor - safety and training (remote)

Ironwood Orchard Farms supplies farm and food customers across the Portland region. We are hiring a Production Supervisor to take on safety and training. We are a family-run business at heart. What you will do • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Report daily on output, downtime and seasonal crews. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. What we are looking for • Firm, fair and calm. • Comfort with production metrics. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. Nice to have • Lean or Six Sigma training. • Experience with seasonal crews. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Portland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
