Production Supervisor - safety and training (remote)

Bluepeak Technologies is a Detroit manufacturer supplying regional industrial customers, and we need a Production Supervisor to lead our safety and training. Many of our supervisors started on the floor. What you will do • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Report daily on output, downtime and work orders. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. What we are looking for • Firm, fair and calm. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. • Comfort with production metrics. Nice to have • Experience with work orders. • Lean or Six Sigma training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Detroit. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
