Production Supervisor - safety and training (remote)

We are growing our team at Rivermark Press and adding a Production Supervisor whose main responsibility will be safety and training. Many of us have been here for ten years or more. What you will do • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Report daily on output, downtime and press runs. What we are looking for • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. • Firm, fair and calm. • Comfort with production metrics. Nice to have • Experience with press runs. • Lean or Six Sigma training. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Birmingham. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
