Production Supervisor - safety and training (remote)

Cedar Press Group prints books, catalogues and packaging from its Baltimore plant. We are hiring a Production Supervisor to take on safety and training. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Report daily on output, downtime and customer orders. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. What we are looking for • Comfort with production metrics. • Firm, fair and calm. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. Nice to have • Experience with customer orders. • Lean or Six Sigma training. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Baltimore. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
