Production Supervisor - safety and training (remote)

Westbrook Willow Medical designs and makes medical devices in San Diego. We are hiring a Production Supervisor to take on safety and training. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Report daily on output, downtime and complaint handling. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. What we are looking for • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. • Firm, fair and calm. • Comfort with production metrics. Nice to have • Lean or Six Sigma training. • Experience with complaint handling. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in San Diego. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
