Production Supervisor - safety and training (Pittsburgh, PA)

We are growing our team at Bright Amber Manufacturing and adding a Production Supervisor whose main responsibility will be safety and training. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Report daily on output, downtime and machine downtime. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. What we are looking for • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. • Firm, fair and calm. • Comfort with production metrics. Nice to have • Lean or Six Sigma training. • Experience with machine downtime. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Pittsburgh. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
