Production Supervisor - safety and training (Oakland, CA)

Lumen Iron Medical designs and makes medical devices in Oakland. We are hiring a Production Supervisor to take on safety and training. You would join a large organisation of about 926 people based in Oakland. What you will do • Report daily on output, downtime and clinical evaluations. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. What we are looking for • Comfort with production metrics. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. • Firm, fair and calm. Nice to have • Experience with clinical evaluations. • Lean or Six Sigma training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Oakland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
