Production Supervisor - safety and training (Nashville, TN)

Northwind Forge Foods is a Nashville food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers. We are hiring a Production Supervisor to take on safety and training. Food safety is non-negotiable and we train for it. What you will do • Report daily on output, downtime and cold storage. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. What we are looking for • Firm, fair and calm. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. • Comfort with production metrics. Nice to have • Lean or Six Sigma training. • Experience with cold storage. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Nashville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
