Production Supervisor - safety and training (Minneapolis, MN)

Ironwood Wren Foods is a Minneapolis food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers. We are hiring a Production Supervisor to take on safety and training. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Report daily on output, downtime and production batches. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. What we are looking for • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. • Firm, fair and calm. • Comfort with production metrics. Nice to have • Lean or Six Sigma training. • Experience with production batches. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Minneapolis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
