Production Supervisor - safety and training (Minneapolis, MN)

We are growing our team at Cedar Press Group and adding a Production Supervisor whose main responsibility will be safety and training. Deadlines are tight and craftsmanship matters. What you will do • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Report daily on output, downtime and print quotes. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. What we are looking for • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. • Firm, fair and calm. • Comfort with production metrics. Nice to have • Lean or Six Sigma training. • Experience with print quotes. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Minneapolis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
