Production Supervisor - safety and training (Madison, WI)

Nova Umber Farms supplies farm and food customers across the Madison region, and we need a Production Supervisor to lead our safety and training. You would join a large organisation of about 709 people based in Madison. What you will do • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Report daily on output, downtime and harvest schedules. What we are looking for • Firm, fair and calm. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. • Comfort with production metrics. Nice to have • Lean or Six Sigma training. • Experience with harvest schedules. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Madison, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
