Production Supervisor - safety and training (Louisville, KY)

Northwind Glen Foods makes sauces, snacks and prepared meals in Louisville. We are hiring a Production Supervisor to take on safety and training. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Report daily on output, downtime and cold storage. What we are looking for • Firm, fair and calm. • Comfort with production metrics. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. Nice to have • Experience with cold storage. • Lean or Six Sigma training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Louisville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
