Production Supervisor - safety and training (Knoxville, TN)

Fernwood Rook Medical builds devices used by hospitals and clinics, with its team based in Knoxville, and we need a Production Supervisor to lead our safety and training. Documentation is part of the craft. What you will do • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Report daily on output, downtime and complaint handling. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. What we are looking for • Firm, fair and calm. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. • Comfort with production metrics. Nice to have • Experience with complaint handling. • Lean or Six Sigma training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Knoxville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
