Production Supervisor - safety and training (Houston, TX)

Summit North Auto Group is looking for a Production Supervisor. The job centres on safety and training for vehicle inspections, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 76 people based in Houston. What you will do • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Report daily on output, downtime and vehicle inspections. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. What we are looking for • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. • Comfort with production metrics. • Firm, fair and calm. Nice to have • Lean or Six Sigma training. • Experience with vehicle inspections. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Houston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
