Production Supervisor - safety and training (Houston, TX)

Northwind Ember Press is looking for a Production Supervisor. The job centres on safety and training for bindery work, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We like people who notice details. What you will do • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Report daily on output, downtime and bindery work. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. What we are looking for • Comfort with production metrics. • Firm, fair and calm. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. Nice to have • Experience with bindery work. • Lean or Six Sigma training. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Houston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
