Production Supervisor - safety and training (Des Moines, IA)

We are growing our team at Northwind Yarrow Foods and adding a Production Supervisor whose main responsibility will be safety and training. Food safety is non-negotiable and we train for it. What you will do • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Report daily on output, downtime and allergen controls. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. What we are looking for • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. • Firm, fair and calm. • Comfort with production metrics. Nice to have • Experience with allergen controls. • Lean or Six Sigma training. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Des Moines, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
