Production Supervisor - safety and training (Des Moines, IA)

Summit Ivory Foods is a Des Moines food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers, and we need a Production Supervisor to lead our safety and training. Food safety is non-negotiable and we train for it. What you will do • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Report daily on output, downtime and customer specifications. What we are looking for • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. • Firm, fair and calm. • Comfort with production metrics. Nice to have • Experience with customer specifications. • Lean or Six Sigma training. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Des Moines. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
