Production Supervisor - safety and training (Chicago, IL)

Ironwood Amber Medical is a Chicago company producing monitoring and surgical equipment. We are hiring a Production Supervisor to take on safety and training. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Chicago. What you will do • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Report daily on output, downtime and clinical evaluations. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. What we are looking for • Comfort with production metrics. • Firm, fair and calm. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. Nice to have • Lean or Six Sigma training. • Experience with clinical evaluations. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Chicago. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
