Production Supervisor - safety and training (Charleston, SC)

Greenridge Fern Farms grows and distributes produce from farms near Charleston, and we need a Production Supervisor to lead our safety and training. You would join a small organisation of about 15 people based in Charleston. What you will do • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Report daily on output, downtime and cold storage. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. What we are looking for • Comfort with production metrics. • Firm, fair and calm. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. Nice to have • Lean or Six Sigma training. • Experience with cold storage. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Charleston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
