Production Supervisor - safety and training (Birmingham, AL)

Greenridge Timber Medical builds devices used by hospitals and clinics, with its team based in Birmingham, and we need a Production Supervisor to lead our safety and training. You would join a large organisation of about 732 people based in Birmingham. What you will do • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Report daily on output, downtime and device records. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. What we are looking for • Comfort with production metrics. • Firm, fair and calm. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. Nice to have • Experience with device records. • Lean or Six Sigma training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Birmingham. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
