Production Supervisor - safety and training (Birmingham, AL)

We are growing our team at Foxglove Vale Press and adding a Production Supervisor whose main responsibility will be safety and training. Many of us have been here for ten years or more. What you will do • Report daily on output, downtime and customer orders. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. What we are looking for • Firm, fair and calm. • Comfort with production metrics. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. Nice to have • Lean or Six Sigma training. • Experience with customer orders. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Birmingham. • We reply to every applicant.
