Production Supervisor - safety and training (Birmingham, AL)

Lumen Press is looking for a Production Supervisor. The job centres on safety and training for paper stock, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 11 people based in Birmingham. What you will do • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Report daily on output, downtime and paper stock. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. What we are looking for • Firm, fair and calm. • Comfort with production metrics. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. Nice to have • Experience with paper stock. • Lean or Six Sigma training. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Birmingham, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
