Production Supervisor - safety and training (Birmingham, AL)

We are growing our team at Bluepeak Quill Farms and adding a Production Supervisor whose main responsibility will be safety and training. Seasons are busy and the rest of the year is for planning. What you will do • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Report daily on output, downtime and seasonal crews. What we are looking for • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. • Comfort with production metrics. • Firm, fair and calm. Nice to have • Lean or Six Sigma training. • Experience with seasonal crews. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Birmingham. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
