Production Supervisor - safety and training (Austin, TX)

Summit Nest Press Group is looking for a Production Supervisor. The job centres on safety and training for paper stock, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Many of us have been here for ten years or more. What you will do • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Report daily on output, downtime and paper stock. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. What we are looking for • Firm, fair and calm. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. • Comfort with production metrics. Nice to have • Lean or Six Sigma training. • Experience with paper stock. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Austin. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
