Production Supervisor - line performance (San Jose, CA)

Fernwood Bright Medical is a San Jose company producing monitoring and surgical equipment. We are hiring a Production Supervisor to take on line performance. You would join a small organisation of about 70 people based in San Jose. What you will do • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Report daily on output, downtime and regulatory submissions. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. What we are looking for • Firm, fair and calm. • Comfort with production metrics. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. Nice to have • Lean or Six Sigma training. • Experience with regulatory submissions. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in San Jose, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
