Production Supervisor - line performance (Sacramento, CA)

Fernwood Vista Manufacturing manufactures parts and assemblies at its Sacramento plant. We are hiring a Production Supervisor to take on line performance. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Sacramento. What you will do • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Report daily on output, downtime and scrap and rework. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. What we are looking for • Comfort with production metrics. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. • Firm, fair and calm. Nice to have • Experience with scrap and rework. • Lean or Six Sigma training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Sacramento, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
