Production Supervisor - line performance (Richmond, VA)

Greenridge Rook Press Group produces print and digital publications in Richmond. We are hiring a Production Supervisor to take on line performance. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Richmond. What you will do • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Report daily on output, downtime and paper stock. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. What we are looking for • Firm, fair and calm. • Comfort with production metrics. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. Nice to have • Lean or Six Sigma training. • Experience with paper stock. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Richmond. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
