Production Supervisor - line performance (remote)

Harborlight Pine Press Group produces print and digital publications in Providence. We are hiring a Production Supervisor to take on line performance. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Report daily on output, downtime and proofing. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. What we are looking for • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. • Comfort with production metrics. • Firm, fair and calm. Nice to have • Lean or Six Sigma training. • Experience with proofing. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Providence. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
