Production Supervisor - line performance (remote)

Rivermark Press is looking for a Production Supervisor. The job centres on line performance for bindery work, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Many of us have been here for ten years or more. What you will do • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Report daily on output, downtime and bindery work. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. What we are looking for • Firm, fair and calm. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. • Comfort with production metrics. Nice to have • Lean or Six Sigma training. • Experience with bindery work. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Charleston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
