Production Supervisor - line performance (remote)

Westbrook Junction Manufacturing manufactures parts and assemblies at its Toledo plant. We are hiring a Production Supervisor to take on line performance. Many of our supervisors started on the floor. What you will do • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Report daily on output, downtime and machine downtime. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. What we are looking for • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. • Comfort with production metrics. • Firm, fair and calm. Nice to have • Experience with machine downtime. • Lean or Six Sigma training. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Toledo. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
