Production Supervisor - line performance (remote)

Northwind Quill Farms supplies farm and food customers across the Pittsburgh region, and we need a Production Supervisor to lead our line performance. Seasons are busy and the rest of the year is for planning. What you will do • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Report daily on output, downtime and packing house output. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. What we are looking for • Firm, fair and calm. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. • Comfort with production metrics. Nice to have • Experience with packing house output. • Lean or Six Sigma training. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Pittsburgh. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
