Production Supervisor - line performance (remote)

Harborlight Pine Press prints books, catalogues and packaging from its Pittsburgh plant, and we need a Production Supervisor to lead our line performance. You would join a small organisation of about 153 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Report daily on output, downtime and press runs. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. What we are looking for • Firm, fair and calm. • Comfort with production metrics. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. Nice to have • Lean or Six Sigma training. • Experience with press runs. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Pittsburgh. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
