Production Supervisor - line performance (Raleigh, NC)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Beacon Manufacturing and adding a Production Supervisor whose main responsibility will be line performance. You would join a large organisation of about 458 people based in Raleigh. What you will do • Report daily on output, downtime and machine downtime. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. What we are looking for • Firm, fair and calm. • Comfort with production metrics. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. Nice to have • Lean or Six Sigma training. • Experience with machine downtime. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Raleigh. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
